Multi-Deck Scrubbing Thickener
The multi-deck scrubbing thickener washes cyanided slurry in gold CIP/CIL circuits. It sits after leaching and ahead of carbon adsorption, using counter-current flow to recover pregnant solution.
Technical parameters
Stacked trays and a common rake mechanism pack multiple washing stages into one vessel. Wash water and pulp flow in opposite directions across the decks. The compact arrangement saves plant space and pipework compared to separate single-deck thickeners.
The model table lists options by thickening tank diameter and number of layers. Settling area and processing capacity scale with these variables, letting engineers match the machine to wash water rate and solids throughput. The multi-layer design means a smaller diameter may still deliver the required washing area, an advantage for constrained sites.

What decides the selection
Before selecting a model, define the slurry flow rate, solids density, and the number of counter-current washing stages required for the target wash efficiency. Also confirm the wash water ratio and whether the site can supply the necessary head for inter-stage transfer. The working pressure vacuum degree and spraying volume in the table guide the water system design.
