Airflow Classifier

The airflow classifier sorts dry particles by size using aerodynamic principles. Feed enters the machine, and internal forces separate fine product from coarse rejects. This dry process is well suited to minerals that are moisture-sensitive or need additive-free separation.

Technical parameters

Placed downstream of a mill, the classifier operates in closed circuit. Coarse particles return to regrind, while fines go to downstream processing. This layout stabilises mill loading and narrows the product particle size distribution.

The eight models cover a range of production capacities and product finenesses. As model size increases, installed power and throughput capability rise. Classification efficiency varies by model and application, so the table helps engineers match a unit to their required cut size and throughput target.
