Gravity Separation Equipment
Sawtooth Wave Jig
The sawtooth wave jig separates minerals by density using a pulsating water column. Its sawtooth diaphragm motion enhances particle stratification and lowers water usage relative to standard jigs.
Technical parameters
It typically sits after classification and before final gravity cleaning, treating feeds where a sufficient density contrast exists. The unit can produce a rougher concentrate or a finished product depending on the ore.
The table lists eight models with variations in jigging chamber size, feed size acceptance, motor power, and weight. Buyers should compare these parameters against their target throughput and particle size distribution to narrow the options. The JT0.57-1, JT1-1, and JT2-2 codes indicate incremental chamber sizes.

Standard-model catalogue figures. Actual capacity, power draw and wear life shift with ore properties, feed gradation and circuit conditions. Use them to shortlist, then confirm the duty by testwork, flowsheet calculation and a written confirmation from the manufacturer.
What decides the selection
Before selecting a model, the process engineer must define the feed particle size range, desired handling capacity, available water pressure, and the density characteristics of the ore. Lab-scale test work or reference to similar operations clarifies the separation performance and the required bed area. This data guides the choice among the eight parameter sets.
