Slurry Pumps and Valves

High-Head Wear-Resistant Rubber Slurry Pump

The Xinhai high-head wear-resistant rubber slurry pump transfers abrasive slurries against steep static heads or over long pipeline distances. It serves tailings transport, mine dewatering lift stages, and process lines where elevation changes demand sustained discharge pressure.

Technical parameters

Unlike standard slurry pumps, this range combines a high-head hydraulic profile with a heavy-duty rubber lining that resists fine, sharp-particle erosion. It is installed downstream of mills, in flotation concentrate pumping loops, or as a tailings pipeline booster.

The model table lists the key hydraulic parameters that change across the range: maximum flow, head, impeller speed, and motor power. Selecting the correct size starts with your duty point and then checking that the pump’s hydraulic limit and drive requirements align with the available installation.

Standard-model catalogue figures. Actual capacity, power draw and wear life shift with ore properties, feed gradation and circuit conditions. Use them to shortlist, then confirm the duty by testwork, flowsheet calculation and a written confirmation from the manufacturer.

What decides the selection

To fix the right model, the engineer must define the required flow rate, total dynamic head, and the slurry’s specific gravity, particle size distribution, and pH. Pipe diameter, layout, and available net positive suction head influence pump speed and power selection. The required wear life and seal type also narrow the choice.

  • Design flow and head
  • Slurry density and particle size
  • Abrasiveness and corrosiveness
  • Net positive suction head
  • Pipeline resistance
  • Sealing arrangement
  • Wetted part material
  • Speed control method
