High-Efficiency Wet Dust Remover

The high-efficiency wet dust remover captures airborne dust by passing the airstream through a water curtain or scrubber section, where particles collide with water droplets and are removed. It handles the fine, sticky, or hygroscopic dusts common in mining material handling. Unlike dry bag filters, it tolerates moisture without blinding the filter media.

Technical parameters

Installed downstream of crushers, screens, and transfer points, the wet dust remover connects to ductwork collecting dust-laden air. It is often paired with hoods over conveyor belts or enclosed chutes to capture dust at the source. The cleaned air is then discharged to atmosphere or recirculated.

The model range scales across four parameters: air volume, static pressure, water consumption, and motor power. Larger units handle greater airflow at higher pressure drops, requiring more water and larger motors. The selection balances these interdependent variables against the specific dust load and ductwork configuration.
