European Version Jaw Crusher

The European Version jaw crusher uses compressive force between a fixed and a swinging jaw plate to break hard, abrasive rock. Its deep symmetrical crushing chamber and optimised nip angle promote high reduction ratios and consistent product sizing.

Technical parameters

It occupies the primary crushing station, receiving run-of-mine feed directly from a dump hopper or grizzly feeder. The crusher discharges a coarse product that feeds a secondary crusher or a grinding circuit, depending on plant design.

Six standard models, designated C80 through C140, scale in feed opening, power, and capacity. The discharge opening adjusts over a set range, allowing the operator to control product top size. Selection turns on the maximum feed lump dimension, throughput target, and crusher setting.

What decides the selection

Before a model is fixed, define the largest particle size the crusher will accept, the target product size, and the required tonnes per hour. Confirm the ore's compressive strength, abrasiveness, and moisture content. This data determines which frame size and setting will meet the duty without excessive power draw or premature wear.
