Hinder Setter
The Xinhai Hinder Settler is a hindered-settling classifier that separates non-metallic mineral particles by size and density. Feed slurry enters a tank where upward water pressure fluidizes the bed, creating zones of different settling velocities.
Technical parameters
Coarse particles settle faster and discharge from the bottom, while finer particles overflow. It is typically placed after washing or scrubbing stages to deliver a deslimed, sized product for downstream processes such as flotation or magnetic separation.

What decides the selection
Before selecting a model, define the feed mineralogy, particle size distribution, and required separation cut point. Confirm the available water pressure and flow rate at site. Provide the target throughput and the dimensions of the installation area. This data ensures the chosen machine will operate within its design envelope and deliver consistent classification.
