Conveying Equipment
Belt Conveyor
A belt conveyor moves run-of-mine ore, crushed rock or concentrates between process stations. It handles horizontal and inclined terrain, forming the main material transport link across a site.
Technical parameters
In a typical flowsheet, belt conveyors connect primary crushing to coarse ore stockpiles or directly to the grinding circuit. They also feed intermediate screening and final product load-out, providing a reliable, continuous flow that keeps downstream operations running.
The parameter table covers a broad spectrum of belt widths, sidewall heights and inclination angles. Model codes such as '30°, 500, 252, 120' encode the main variables that define a conveyor's suitability for a given route and material. Review the columns to understand how each dimension affects the conveyor's footprint and lift capability.

Standard-model catalogue figures. Actual capacity, power draw and wear life shift with ore properties, feed gradation and circuit conditions. Use them to shortlist, then confirm the duty by testwork, flowsheet calculation and a written confirmation from the manufacturer.
What decides the selection
Before selecting a model, define the material characteristics: particle size distribution, density, moisture and abrasiveness. Determine the required transport capacity, lift height and horizontal distance. Also confirm the available drive power and any site constraints on belt speed or inclination. These parameters will pinpoint the correct model from the table.
